Acey Rowe is a narrative producer and story editor working in audio documentaries, serialized podcasts, and all things longform

Bio

Acey is a producer with CBC News Podcasts, making serialized narrative shows including Uncover: Bad Results.

She was the host, producer and story editor of The Doc Project, CBC's critically-acclaimed documentary show and podcast, and the story editor of The Salmon People—named one of Apple Canada’s Best Podcasts of 2022. Her work has also been featured on Slate Magazine’s Decoder Ring, Cited Media’s Cited, NPR, BBC, ABC, and independent podcasts. She was a founding producer of the CBC Audio Doc Unit, and the creator of Storylines, the Doc Unit’s in-house documentary podcast and national radio show.

Acey has helmed more than 350 narrative episodes and has won a small pile of awards for her efforts (see below). Her dream is to win the Skylarking Award at Third Coast, but they discontinued the category the year after she was a mere finalist and she’s never gotten over it.
